【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisstandardistodescribethemethodsforconductinganacousticemission(AE)examinationofmetallicpressureequipmentduringacceptancepressuretestingusingazonelocationprocedure.GeneralprinciplesofAcousticEmissionsaredescribedinEN13554.TheobjectivesoftheAEtestingaretoprovide100%volumetrictestingtodefineandgradezonesofthestructurewhichareacousticallyactivewithbursttypeAE.Themethodshouldberegardedassupplementarytoplanarlocation.Planarlocationprovidesthesourceidentificationandcharacterisation.ZonelocationmayalsobeappliedinsuchcaseswherelocationofAEsourcesbyplanarlocationproceduresaccordingtoEN14584isnotpossible.Themethodidentifiestheneedforfurtherevaluationorfollow-upbyotherNDTinlocalizedzones.
